The small print, kept small

Privacy

This site doesn't track you. If you send me a message, I use it to reply. That's it.

Who I am

Ash Ledran, an independent CRM and lifecycle consultant in Surrey, UK. I'm responsible for the personal information this site collects. Any questions, email ash@ledran.co.

What the site collects

Only what you send me through the contact form:

  • your name, email address, subject and message
  • the website you came from (for example google.com or linkedin.com) and the first page you landed on, so I know how people find me

Nothing else. No cookies, no analytics, no advertising or tracking tools.

What stays on your device

A few things are kept in your own browser, never sent to me:

  • an unsent draft of your message, so you don't lose it. It's cleared when you send.
  • your Inbox Snake scores and sound setting
  • how your visit started (the site you came from and the first page you saw), for this browser tab only. It's only sent if you send me a message.

You can clear all of it by clearing this site's data in your browser settings.

How I use your message

To reply to you, and to talk about any work that follows. I don't add you to a mailing list, I don't sell or share your details, and I don't use them for marketing.

UK data protection law lets me do this because you've asked me to get in touch (legitimate interests, and steps before a possible contract).

Where it's held

Your message travels through the site's hosting (Vercel) and arrives in my email (Google Workspace). Both handle it on my behalf.

How long I keep it

Only as long as I need it for our conversation and any work that comes from it.

Your rights

You can ask me for a copy of what I hold about you, to correct it or to delete it, or object to how I use it. Email ash@ledran.co. If you're not happy with my answer, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
